Adding a Twitter Feed to Your Site
09/22/09
Do you use Twitter to communicate your latest news and information to your potential clients or website audience? If so, you might want to highlight your Twitter feed on your website. If you have a content management system, adding your Twitter feed to your website is easy.
When you visit Twitter, you can click on the GOODIES link in the footer. From there, select WIDGETS and you can customize the widget to drop into your site.
When adding Twitter to your site, you want to be careful because you don’t want to steer a lot of your traffic from your website to Twitter, you simply want to advertise that you have a Twitter feed to make it easy for people to find your latest news and announcements. Typically, the goal is to bring people from Twitter to your website, not the other way around.
