BolderImage launches an all new FairyTales Collectibles Website

Fairy Tales is a charming little store with a big selection of collectibles.  With stores located in Lombard and Galena, IL, they offer unique product lines like Wee Forest Folk, Bridgewater Candles, Deb Canham and more.  When Fairy Tales came to BolderImage, their site was in need of a redesign.  Their website did not properly convey the quality collectable brand that makes Fairy Tales “the store” to go to for these specialty pieces.

Maintaining their website was cumbersome.  It required someone that had HTML skills in order to make changes.  This meant that there was cost and delay any time they needed to change content or add any products to their site.


Integrating a content management system into the unique design, BolderImage developed a site that allows Fairy Tales to manage their own content including pages, news and events.  Utilizing a very stylish flash scroller on the home page, visitors can quickly see the variety of different products available in the eStore.  The end result is that Fairy Tales employees can quickly add new products to the eStore with just a few mouse clicks through their web browser.


Not only is the process for purchasing products easier with the innovative site, BolderImage also developed the site to be highly optimized for search engines.


Almost a week before the planned launch, their previous hosting company erroneously shut off their site and purged it from their servers late on a Friday night.  With the site down days in advance of the planned launch, there would be an impact to their bottom line.  Providing top-notch customer service, BolderImage went into motion over the weekend, finalized the site and launched it as quickly as possible – well ahead of schedule.
