WEB DESIGN PROJECT:
Urban Ministries, Inc. is an African-American publishing and media organization that required a new website to better present their Sunday School and Vacation Bible School products. They also required the site to enable online ordering and secure financial transactions.
WEB DESIGN SOLUTION:
Based upon the BolderImage eStore Engine, a custom database-driven eCommerce catalog and eStore website was designed that allows Urban Ministries staff to keep the site content updated themselves. The Backstage content management system area developed by BolderImage allows UMI to:
• Add, Edit, Delete: products, product categories, prices, descriptions, sale specials,
• Manage customers and orders
• Display tiered product pricing based upon a registered customer login
• In a more recent site redesign, BolderImage also integrated a Community Server discussion forum engine to facilitate online discussion and communication regarding UMI products and services.
• Integrating a News and Events schedule section that allows UMI to keep up to date through the Backstage
