ASP.Net Web Programmer

Please note that if you are selected for the interview process, there will be some computer-based code writing tests required to prove ability and knowledge.
Required software skills:
- Previous experience in development public facing ASP.Net Web Application.
- Experience with payment processing gateways such as Authorize.Net and Payal
- 2 to 4 years experience creating, maintaining, and testing Microsoft ASP.NET, Classic ASP and SQL Server web applications.
- A strong working knowledge of VBScript, ASP.Net 3.5, C#, VB.NET, LINQ, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and SQL Server/T-SQL
- Good to excellent working knowledge and experience with VisualStudio and SQL Server or MS Access
- Knowledge and interest in user-interface design, search engine optimization, web page layout, and navigation methodology
- Experience with Sitefinity, Genexus, and/or Dreamweaver are a plus (but not required)
Desired talent:
- Strong verbal and written English language business communications skills, and the ability to interact with customers in requirements-gathering and technical support
- Strong problem solving/code conceptualizing skills and an intuitive nature
- Attention to detail and good code proofing skills – you excel at spotting code errors and performance pitfalls
- The ability to get projects done within given timeframes – we are not a high-pressure production house, but do work on time-managed projects
- A team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision once a direction is established, and meet agreed upon deadlines
Primary Responsibilities will include the following:
- Database-driven web site development, enhancement and maintenance of corporate, e-commerce and non-profit web sites
- Participate in client meetings and take ownership of projects after proving that you’re ready for the challenge
- Eventually help estimate time requirements for projects and train new employees after establishing a solid presence on the team
