Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 Announcement and Policy
To all BolderImage customers: Microsoft is getting ready to release version 7 of their web browser, Internet Explorer. Whenever this happens, or when a new web browser enters the marketplace (like Firefox did) it is possible that some existing webpages may not display properly or work as originally intended. This is because the new browser may treat HTML and other related code in new ways, or in compliance with newer standards. Some website code may become out of date for these newer browsers as technology changes. BolderImage has tested the new IE7 browser with many of our customer websites. So far, we have not discovered any major issues with current sites working in the new browser. Howeber, in time, you or a user may discover something that doesn't work properly. When this happens, it is the policy of BolderImage to address that issue, fixing it as agreed upon with the customer, but usually for a fee, based upon the time requirements. The reason for the fee, is that no one can guarantee that existing website code will meet all standards of future unknown and/or potential changes in web browser technology. However, we are confident that we can address most any issue that may arise do to changing browser technology. Please Contact Us, if you have any questions about our policy.
